Claire Foster is a reader, writer, and literary translator from French. She is also the manager of Type Books, where she works as a bookseller and events coordinator. She also co-hosts, with Kevin Greenspan, Paradise Book Club, a bi-monthly film series at Paradise Theatre. Her writing and translations have appeared in the Cleveland Review of Books, The Kenyon Review, and elsewhere. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she lives and works in Toronto.
She also plays violin in the Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra.
